The recognition program highlights members of the 366th Fighter Wing who make significant contributions to their unit and the base. Senior Airman Shannon Bloodworth Unit and duty title: 390th Aircraft Maintenance Unit supply technician Time in Air Force: Two years and seven months Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Two years and three months Hometown: Milan, Tenn. Hobbies: Playing guitar, video games, hanging out with friends and watching TV and movies What service does Airman Bloodworth provide to the Gunfighters? Airman Bloodworth orders and inventories aircraft parts, turns in parts to back shops or the depot and maintains a parts supply to support daily flying operations of the 390th Fighter Squadron. Most memorable Air Force moment. "My incentive ride in an F-15D Eagle. Being around the maintenance men and women of the 390th AMU, I was kind of embarrassed of my flight, but they were so happy for me and the chance of getting a flight. It made all the work I do to support them worthwhile. It was a rough flight, but it was worth the dry-heaving during and the coma-like sleep I got afterward." Interesting personal fact: "I play and listen to 80s thrash/speed metal and neo-classical music." Why does Airman Bloodworth deserve to be a warrior of the week? "He is our go-to Airman; he goes above and beyond what is asked of him. The maintainers at the 390th AMU constantly ask for Airman Bloodworth by name as they know he gets the job done in a timely manner." - Chief Master Sgt. Keith Mondloch, 390th AMU superintendent Tech. Sgt. Brandon Dunston Unit and duty title: 389th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Unit flightline expediter Time in Air Force: 12 years Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Nine months Hometown: Dallas Hobbies: Fishing and camping What service does Sergeant Dunston provide to the Gunfighters? Sergeant Dunston oversees and directs maintenance performed daily on F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft assigned to the 389th AMU. Most memorable Air Force moment. "My most memorable Air Force moment was my last deployment to Iraq in 2007. As a flightline expediter at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, I was able to see the last year of training successfully payoff by putting bombs on target during a real campaign. It was spectacular to see a unit pull together to get every combat sortie tasked in the air to provide cover to our Army brothers and sisters on the ground." Interesting personal fact: "I have an odd fear of clowns." Why does Sergeant Dunston deserve to be a warrior of the week? "I rely heavily on Sergeant Dunston's leadership abilities to oversee our daily maintenance effort. It is through his leadership that we are able produce sorties to train the 389th Fighter Squadron aircrews and provide the Gunfighter's with the lethal combat airpower that our enemies fear." - Master Sgt. Nick Aicher, 389th AMU lead production superintendent
