Senior leaders with the 391st Fighter Squadron recently selected the following individuals as their warriors of the week. The recognition program highlights members of the 366th Fighter Wing who make significant contributions to their unit and the base.

Airman 1st Class Brandon Daniels

Unit and duty title: 391st FS aviation resource manager apprentice

Time in Air Force: 11 months

Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Eight months

Hometown: Las Vegas

Hobbies: "I spend time with my wife and daughter and anything related to automobiles."

What service does Airman Daniels provide to the Gunfighters? "I update and record all of training for more than 80 aircrews assigned to the 389th and 391st FS. I also make sure the aircrew are able to deploy at a moment's notice and put bombs on target."

Most memorable Air Force moment. "I was selected as my flight's dorm chief the second week of basic training. At first, I thought there is no way I could take on the challenge of leading more than 50 Airman to graduate. This job helped me learn to prioritize tasks to get the job done and graduate on time."

Interesting personal fact: "I have a lot of patience and enjoy making others smile or laugh."

Why does Airman Daniels deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman Daniels embodies what every supervisor wants in an Airman--respectful, humble, honest and highly motivated. In addition to being in upgrade training and tackling his daily tasks, he is the alternate for both the Land Mobile Radio and records custodian accounts. He understands how his contributions help the team and uses that as motivation to achieve excellent results."

Most memorable Air Force moment. "It was when I deployed to the 391st Fighter Squadron to Afghanistan to protect our brothers in arms on the ground. I was fortunate to get to fly 71 combat missions in five months of supporting Operation Enduring Freedom."

Interesting personal fact: "I enjoy all sports and all outdoor activities."

Why does Captain Falzone deserve to be a warrior of the week? "He embodies skills of a great officer and aviator: character, motivation and humility. During a recent Supervisor of Flying tour, he helped the aircrew safely recover a $60 million dollar F-15E Strike Eagle with an engine malfunction. When the standard evaluation chiefs for the 389th FS and 391st FS deployed and PCS'ed, he stepped up to flawlessly run the combined Standard Evaluation shop for both squadrons."
