MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE IDAHO -- Staff Sgt. Gary R. Seymour, an Idaho Air National Guardsman assigned to the 266th Range Squadron at Mountain Home Air Force Base, is awarded the Idaho Cross for rendering life-saving assistance to an Idaho women who was trapped under her vehicle in 2009. Sergeant Seymour lifted the vehicle and held it off the victim until assistance arrived. He assisted the paramedics in placing the victim on a backboard and carrying the gurney. He then contacted the victim's husband. The awarded was presented at the state capitol building by Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter and Brig. Gen. Gary L. Sayler, Idaho Adjutant General April 13.
