Receiving a challenge coin from ACC/CC Gen.William Frazer. Because it validates my job performance & professionalism as top notch when I provided the DV support. Interesting personal fact: A1C Bolus was born in the Philippines and is actively seeking American citizenship. Why does A1C Bolus deserve to be a warrior of the week? A motivated Airman Bolus completed his CDCs in 4 months and accomplished 88 core-tasks in 8 months, thus meeting upgrade requirements 7 months early. Completely understanding Pickup and Delivery processes, Airman Bolus expedited movement of 222 MICAPs and maintained a 22-minute average delivery rate, ensuring uninterrupted aircraft maintenance and sortie generation while beating AF delivery goal by 26%. As an Airman, he led a vehicle preparation detail for SECAF and PACAF/CC visit, resulting in SECAF and Wing protocol lauding support as "Outstanding!" Mature beyond his years, he was selected by flight leadership and currently fills a vacant NCO position in Operator Records and Licensing section where he validates vehicle qualifications and maintains error-free management of a 4K member database. As an AF manager of the DOT Transportation Incentive Program, Airman Bolus identified 145 unusable program vouchers and promptly returned to DOT resulting in the DOD being reimbursed $11K for future incentives. He is actively involved in off-duty education through American Military University and has earned 34 credit hours toward a CCAF Transportation Management degree. A true Ambassador in Blue, he organized and led a squadron community park cleanup project, restoring walks, cleaned up picnic areas and groomed sport fields saving the city $1.5K. As a squadron food drive representative, he stocked the Warmheart locker with six tons of food in order to help feed Gunfighters, the largest inventory ever.
