PLAYpass offers discounted, free activities Published June 13, 2011 By 366th Force Support Squadron MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- The 366th Force Support Squadron recently announced the base's support of the new PLAYpass program. This program is an expansion of the previous DePLAYment program, and provides deployment respite support for not only dependents of a deployed member, but also support for returning single Airmen. The program is based on discount cards that provide members and their eligible family members the opportunity to participate in Air Force FSS programs for free or at a reduced cost. PLAYpass cards may be picked up at the Airman and Family Readiness Center along with an information sheet containing eligible local programs and facilities where cards may be used. A copy of the deployed member's orders must be presented before one can receive a card. PLAYpass cards can be activated through registration at www.myairforcelife.com, or by the staff at Airman and Family Readiness Center. Once registered, customers maypresent their PLAYpass card at the time of sign up along with a Department of Defense identification card when they are ready to participate in a program. PLAYpass will be accepted for a variety of classes, trips, and events including: day raft trips, art classes, learn-to-kayak lessons, welding classes, golf lessons, pool passes, bowling passes, scrapbook all-nighters, and many more.
