MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho - Lt. Col. Victor Caravello, the 366th Aerospace Medicine Squadron Commander, answers questions from base housing residents during the environmental information forum held here July 12. Certain products, namely pesticides (chlordane) and asbestos, were once legal and commonly used nationwide, including here on MHAFB. The Air Force is partnering with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality to sample for these products to ensure there is no significant risk and to ensure the health and well-being of our residents, as that is our top priority. The sampling will take place in the housing area for approximately two weeks in August. For more information, please call MHAFB Public Affairs at (208) 828-6800. (U.S. Air Force photo by 2nd Lt.
