The Sagebrush Inn received an incredible 94.5 percent pass rating during an accreditation inspection from 12 to 14 July. This fantastic score puts them in the running to compete for the Innkeeper Award as best Inn of the Air Force.

Throughout the three day inspection, the staff of the Sagebrush Inn performed brilliantly showcasing how the entire operation is ran and maintained on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

"The new Temporary Lodging Facilities here at MHAFB have exceeded my expectations" said Ms. Emily Day, the accreditation inspector with the Air Force Services Agency, as she toured the facility. "In all my nine years of inspecting Air Force Inns, the housekeeping staff here is the best I have ever seen, they are totally amazing."

Ms. Day also mentioned how the design here is marked as the inaugural design for new facilities Air Force wide. Some examples of its qualities are replacing the front loader washers and dryers with top loaders, incorporating TLF's to be more pet friendly, and having larger televisions in the living rooms.

"The larger storage units were a big success as well because they better serve the linen and extra items requirements for the rooms," stated Day.

Ms. Day stated in her out brief, "In my nine years of inspecting Air Force Inns, the housekeeping staff and program are the best I have ever seen, they are totally amazing."

The planning stages of the Sagebrush Inn started in November 2004 through the joint efforts of the 366th FSS, 366th Civil Engineer Squadron, Air Combat Command's Lodging Office, the Air Force Services Agency, and the Army Corps of Engineers. Within a few years the building was complete and the doors opened on April 10, 2009 welcoming guests to enjoy the new building.

The Sagebrush Inn provides numerous accommodations to Air Force families, TDY personnel and PCS families, as well as customers who love to travel. To make reservations please call (208) 828-5200.
