Campbell 366th Fighter Wing Public Affairs MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- On Sept. 08, 2021, Boise Mayor, Lauren McLean, visited the base as part of the Orientation Flight Program. Civic leaders are selected only whenever the mission allows. The purpose of the program is to increase public understanding and support of weapon system, its mission, and its role in national defense. During her visit McLean learned about how daily work is done on base. She also got an opportunity to fly backseat with Col. Lucas Teel, 366th Fighter Wing deputy commander of operations.
