The 366th Financial Acquisition Squadron is changing its customer service hours, May 3 2019, at Mountain Home Air Force Base.

366 FAS customer service hours have been updated to the following:

Walk-in appointments for basic items: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Permanent Change of Station in-processing: Tuesdays at 9 a.m.

Separation and retirement briefs: the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m.

The new schedule helps the 366th FAS streamline processes to better assist customers with their financial needs.

“We want to make sure when the customer comes to see us, it’s not a waste of their time,” said Tech. Sgt. Aymee Neal, 366th FAS section chief. “When a customer has a question or concern, we want to answer their questions in an efficient manner and get them back to doing the mission worry-free.”

Most inquiries that finance Airmen take care of are considered processes happening “behind the scenes”- they may take several days to fulfill. The 366th FAS wants to save their customers time by having the client ask them before they show up to the finance office.

“People see only half of what we do,” said Staff Sgt. Carlos Herrera, 366th FAS financial operations supervisor. “They see the part where we’re taking everything in, and they might not see the back-end piece. We make sure a lot of research goes into their record so we can update their record accurately. We don’t want to cause issues for them in the future.”
