Child Development Center
The Child Development Program is designed to provide a safe and healthy environment for children, uniquely designed to accommodate each child's developmental level. The programs are continuously evaluated for quality and compliance with the highest standards.
The Mountain Home AFB Child Development Program is certified by the Department of Defense and is fully accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs (NAEYC).

A&FRC
The Airman and Family Readiness Center provides professional assistance to develop and maintain resilient airman and families, enabling them to adapt, grow and thrive while serving at home or abroad in the Air Force.
They provide education and consultation to all active duty, retirees, civilian employees and their families. Covering a wide range of human and family services, such as deployments, employment, marriage and parenting classes. They also support personal Finances, relocations and self-Improvements.

Youth Programs
From dances to hang nights, sports tournaments to crafts, kids are sure to find something they enjoy at the Youth Center. Youth Programs offers programming for children ages 6 through 18. The center is affiliated with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and 4-H. Exciting and challenging programs are offered, giving youth opportunities to learn, win prizes, awards and national recognition.
They host several clubs for a variety of age ranges and interests. Make sure to ask us about T.R.A.I.L and Jr. T.R.A.I.L (outdoor adventure combined with leadership) Health & Fitness Club, Y.E.S, Youth Employment Skills, a scholarship based volunteer program. Congressional Awards, Power Hour, the Keystone/Torch Club, and many more! We also offer an ever-changing variety of classes, including Kidnastics and Dynamic Dance.
Youth Programs has a year-round sports program for children ages 4 to 18. Registration fees vary by sport. Volunteer coaches are needed for baseball, T-ball, soccer, basketball, roller hockey, cheerleading, and more. (Youths ages six and older must be a Youth Programs member throughout the sport season to participate.)
Our Nationally Accredited School-Age Program provides supervised, developmentally appropriate programming for children 6 to 12 years of age during the hours before and after school, on school holidays, and during the summer and winter school breaks. Children of active duty military and Department of Defense civilians are eligible to participate in the School-Age Program. Fees are based on total family income.
For those wanting family activities, we offer skate nights, carnivals, and various other family events throughout the year. Please Note: If you would like to request a "Youth" Sponsor for your child/children, please contact us about "Kids in Touch With Kids" (208) 828-2501.
