For the outdoor-lovers, Idaho lets you take advantage of all the fishing, hiking, camping, four-wheeling and exploring the Idaho landscape has to offer: from desert canyons and North America's tallest sand dunes, to the green canopies that cover the Snake River. If the city-life is more up your alley, nearby Boise offers nightlife, restaurants, concerts, shopping and a new experience every weekend. Maybe you're a small-town kind of family; if so, stick around Mountain Home and enjoy the local restaurants, mom- and pop-shops and rustic architecture spanning back to the 19th century. And if you're not sure what do, the many agencies on base will help find a new adventure for you every weekend. Whatever your pleasure, this area of Idaho is guaranteed to provide a plethora of options to satiate it!

Force Support Squadron

The 366th Force Support Squadron is ready to make sure you and your family are taken care of. A base pool and 24-hour gym access is available to help you keep fit. Outdoor Recreation can teach you virtually anything, from archery to kayaking, and offers dozens of trips throughout the year. An indoor kids' gym can help the little ones burn off some steam while you enjoy some free time with friends or read a book from the library right next door. And free movies at the theater, disc golf, a PGA-level golf course and bowling center ensure your weekends are never dull.
