366th MDSS names Warrior of the Week

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- Officials with the 366th Medical Support Squadron recently named the following person as their Warrior of the Week.
Candidate's rank and name: Senior Airman Selena Rodriguez
Unit and duty title: 366th Medical Support Squadron, medical readiness technician
Time in Air Force: More than three years
Time at Mountain Home Air Force Base: Four months
Hometown [city and state]: Waco, Texas
Hobbies: Camping, Basketball, Dancing
What service does Senior Airman Rodriguez provide to the Gunfighters? She assists with orchestrating the deployment of Gunfighter Medics to the area of responsibility and guarantees top notch medical care is delivered to war-fighters.
Most memorable Air Force moment. Please explain why it is memorable? Meeting President Barack Obama, not a common occurrence to meet the commander in chief.
Interesting personal fact: She is the only female in her family to join the military.
Why does Senior Airman Rodriguez deserve to be a warrior of the week? She is dedicated in validating training for medics in support of the Air Force mission both in-garrison and overseas. This was supported by a recent Major Command site visit in which her training binder program was identified as exemplary.
