  • 366th FSS performs contingency training operations

    The 366th Force Support Squadron (FSS) held an annual home station readiness training exercise on September 4, 2020, to practice search and recovery operations as well as building a single-pallet expeditionary kitchen. Not only does the 366th FSS operate many everyday services such as the Dining Facility and the Base gym but what most people don’t know is that they also assist in search and recovery operations.
  • FSS operations officer awarded Bronze Star at MHAFB

    “Deploying into a combat zone for a year is intense,” said Capt. Kristen Miranda, 366th Force Support Squadron operations officer. Miranda served as the director of operations for the 405th Expeditionary Support Squadron at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, from April 2019 to April 2020. She was awarded the Bronze Star, August 20, 2020, here for her heroic actions during an 11-hour complex ground attack on Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan on December 11, 2019.
  • Beneath the Skies: Aircraft Maintainers

    One of the largest support structures here at the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing can be broadly defined as aircraft maintainers. This not only includes those individuals who perform pre-flight, thru-flight (where an aircraft returns from a mission then embarks on another mission within a couple hours) and post-flight safety and function checks, but also several “back shops” which specialize in a certain aspect of the aircraft’s function such as weapons, guidance or propulsion systems.
  • Gunfighters train with Hill F-35s during Combat Archer, Hammer

    The 388th and 419th Fighter Wings recently completed two exercises over three weeks here known as Combat Hammer and Combat Archer from Aug. 6-24 as part of the Air Force’s annual Weapons System Evaluation Program.
  • F-15E Night Operations

    F-15E Strike Eagles from the 389th and 391st Fighter Squadrons execute night operations in support of exercise Gunslinger 18-4. The exercise tested personnel and units in their ability to support a contingency response to an adversarial threat here on base or in an expeditionary capacity across the globe.
