366 MOS names Warrior of the Week

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- Officials with the 366th Maintenance Operations Squadron recently named the following person as their Warrior of the Week.
Senior Airman Landon E. McManis
Unit and duty title: 366th MOS supply liaison
Time in Air Force: Four years, six months
Time at MHAFB: Four years
Hometown: Golden City, Mo.
Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, target shooting
What service does Airman McManis provide to the Gunfighters? Airman McManis prepares, orders, tracks and validates all engine management supply requisitions. He manages time change components and modules valued at $546 million. Also, he coordinates supply status with Air Combat Command Mission Capable Section and multiple Air Logistics Center item managers.
Most memorable Air Force moment? "My most memorable Air Force moment was when I arrived at my first deployment location. I was amazed at the mass of Air Power the Air Force could deploy and operate in a single location."
Interesting personal fact: "I have a 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do."
Why does Airman McManis deserve to be a warrior of the week? "Airman McManis is a hardworking Airman who played a pivotal role during our latest Unit Compliance Inspection, ensuring 100 percent accuracy in supply documents and zero write-ups. Not only does he perform his job proficiently, but he has also learned other jobs in the office at an accelerated rate, and helped lighten up the workload."
