7/27/2012 - MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- MHAFB's small arms firing ranges are off limits to all personnel not possessing written, official permission by the security forces commander or designee. The base has two range facilities. The first range facility is located within the confines of the installation at building 1388, and the second facility is located at the junction of Air Base Road and Grandview highway, building 1902. The range facilities are fenced and clearly marked around the perimeter with "no trespassing" and warning signs. The ranges are patrolled by security forces and trespassers will be prosecuted.
