3/28/2011 - MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho  -- The Gunfighter Skies 2011 air show is scheduled for Sept. 17 and 18 at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, and will feature the Air Force Thunderbirds aerial demonstration team both days.

The air show's theme is "Global Warriors ... Hometown Heroes," which recognizes the partnership between MHAFB's American and Republic of Singapore personnel, as well as the base's links to the local community and region.

The air show is free and open to the public. Gates open at 8 a.m., ramp opens at 9 a.m., and performances begin at 11 a.m. Aerial demonstrations are scheduled throughout the day.
