Approximately 500 personnel and 20 F-15E Strike Eagles belonging to the 389th Fighter Squadron "T-Bolts," 389th Aircraft Maintenance Unit and other support units returned here April 8-14. The airmen and aircraft were deployed for six months to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

The 726th Air Control Squadron hosted the families of currently deployed airmen for a Kids Understanding Deployment Operations day, known as “KUDOS” Oct. 21, here. With their parents being deployed, this event helped teach the kids what their parents do while downrange.

The 389th Fighter Squadron and the 726th Air Control Squadron deployed hundreds of airmen over the month of October. The 389th FS provides combat airpower while the 726th ACS adds airspace capabilities to the mission in Southwest Asia for six months.
