366th Fighter Wing and 428th Fighter Squadron leaders celebrate Lunar New Year

The start of the Lunar New Year begins on Feb. 1, 2022, however, the 428th Fighter Squadron and 366th Fighter Wing leaders, along with Mountain Home Mayor Rich Sykes and his wife Kim Sykes celebrate the holiday, Jan. 28, 2022. The Lunar New Year is based on the lunar calendar, which is based on the moon's orbit around the Earth. It is a holiday that celebrates good fortune and prosperity in the new year, and this year is the year of the tiger.
